Dr. Petra Seidler attended the European University at Saint Petersburg and has a dual Ph.D. in international economic relations and finance credit procurement. She has received the Silver Medal St. Peter of Honour for Charity and founding and implementing the ‘Easter Music Festival’ in Russia. Dr. Seidler is a Russian chartered translator and interpreter and is also fluent in German and English. She speaks basic Dari, the variety of Persian language spoken in Afghanistan. Dr. Seidler is also the Head of the RIDF Programme and a team leader. She attributes her success to being results oriented and recognizing and respecting cultural diversity.

Over the next five years, Dr. Seidler hopes to continue the project of rebuilding Afghanistan’s infrastructure, as well as teach and mentor children.
